My research interests focus on looking at the effects of warming on plant functional traits such as phenology and leaf nutrient concentrations to understand how anthropogenic climate change can influence herbivore populations. More specifically, I am interested in quantifying spatiotemporal shifts in nutrient quality of plant tissues that are available for caribou populations in West Greenland. This research aims to elucidate potential declines in caribou abundance and offspring production. I received my B.S. from UC Davis where I majored in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology. During my undergraduate studies at UC Davis, my roles in the Post Lab encompassed fieldwork in Kangerlussaq, Greenland, and participation in amphibian surveys in Lassen National Park. Furthermore, I have collaborated with the Kelt Lab on research pertaining to California bat species and with the Todd Lab, where the focus was on reptiles and amphibians. Beyond the academic realm, you can find me hiking, backpacking, and camping my way through California!
