2025 Swift Endowment Fellow
Dept. of Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology

I am a fourth-year student at UC Davis majoring in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology with a minor in Ecology, Evolution, and Biodiversity. My professional interests include terrestrial ecology, human-wildlife interactions, endemic species, invasive species mitigation, and sustainable environmental design. I am currently researching seasonal and intersexual variation in aggressive and affiliative behaviors of Verreaux’s sifaka lemurs, managing camera trap monitoring of mountain lions and bobcats at Stebbins Cold Canyon, and am the founder and president of the UC Davis Wildlife Photography Club at UC Davis.
In summer 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to join the Post Lab to assess the health of little brown myotis colonies in Katmai and Kenai Fjords National Parks, Alaska, and I am continuing this work through an independent project on bat diet using collected insect samples. I am driven by curiosity and a desire to understand ecological processes through research to ensure that current and future generations can experience earth’s natural beauty while also supporting the species that live within it.
