2025 Swift Endowment Fellow
Dept. of Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology

I am a third-year student at UC Davis majoring in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology with a minor in Statistics. Originally from Luxembourg, I moved to California in 2022 to pursue my studies and my commitment to nature conservation. My academic interests include population dynamics, ecological modeling, and the role of trait-mediated indirect interactions in shaping ecosystem function. At UC Davis, I have served as an officer and treasurer of the Davis Mycology Club and interned with the Putah Creek Nestbox Highway program, where I conducted songbird surveys. In the summer of 2024, I worked as a field technician with the Pacific Southwest Research Station of the U.S. Forest Service, performing post-fire ecological surveys in Lassen and Plumas National Forests. I am excited to join the Post Lab for the 2025 field season at the Arctic study site in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, and am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible research project!
